Description

Non-destructive extension of the original vehicle interface
- Function: Extends the original vehicle's controller/instrument/ECU interface, making it easier to move the equipment to other locations for installation (such as modifying the controller to be placed in the seat bucket, or extending the instrument wire harness to facilitate the replacement of the handlebars).
- Advantages: No need to cut the original car wires, just plug and play, retain the original car warranty, and avoid the risks of short circuits and poor contact caused by cutting the wires.

Non-destructive functional expansion (most common use)

Function: Without affecting the original vehicle circuit, a separate wire is cut from the original vehicle interface to supply power or obtain signals for the modified equipment.
Typical scenario:

Provides power/signal access to third-party controllers, Bluetooth modules, instrument clusters, GPS trackers, and dashcams;
It draws out brake, throttle, and light signals to achieve coordinated control of the modified parts;
The CAN bus signal is converted in some models to read vehicle data and expand the functions of the instrument panel.

Dedicated adapter for diagnostics/rewriting
